Lace: Around Town

I've been looking for lace around town for three weeks but only began to spot it a few days ago.  The first woman I saw wearing this trend had on a cream tank top with alternating lace and ruffle rows on a diagonal.  Even though the entire shirt wasn't made of lace, I thought the lace accents were very pretty.

Another woman wore a blousy white lace shirt over a short and skinny black dress.

Which of these styles do you prefer - the romantic ruffles or the little black dress?
