Brights: Color Combinations

When exploring the color blocking trend, following a couple of guidelines will make your outfits look fabulous!

Guideline #1: Pick 3
If you look through the designs spotlighted by Elle, you'll see that the designers combined three colors for each outfit.  Details and accessories were either one of those colors or neutral (such as white, black, tan, or gold).

Guideline #2: Stay in the Family
In this case, color families refer to groups of colors such as primary colors, jewel tones, brights, and pastels.  By choosing colors in the same family, your outfit will look pulled together and not mismatched.
